After our quick visit to Calauit Island, we then head to Black Island or Malajon Island for a swim. Little did we know, that Black Island has so much more to offer than just a swim. It is way more than just a typical island as its enchanting charm has captivated our hearts.
Many might have not known or heard about this place but as a trivia, some scenes for Survivor France was shot here.
The first thing you will notice on this island is its hilly white sand. I was so surprised that the sands here are like about 8 to 10 feet high. that it will be challenge and fun just to climb up.
And just right when you reach the top of the hilly sand are the native cottages. Right there is a great spot for a perfect shot between the tortoise beach, the sand, and the mountains.
We saw some caves and without hesitation, we wanted to explore and see what's inside.
And look what we've found. TADAAAA.... Natural water within the island's cave. It is a combination of spring and salt water. Yeah I know because I tried it. Lol...
There were other spots inside the cave that has natural spring just like this but this one has a smaller opening and deeper. It really looks scary!
The water was crystal clear and refreshing. It was enough to relax us from our hot boat ride. It wasn't too cold that you'll feel freezing. What makes it interesting is that there's something unseen there that was with us.
Take a look at the video and take a guess what could be our unseen entertainer.
There were other caves too that has no water but we weren't able to explore what's inside because getting in and out will require some stairs and a flashlight. But the caretaker of the island said that the attraction on that cave it is rocks and gems.

Oooh, Black Island is such a paradise. This is one those things that make me proud as a Filipino.I am wishing that every Juan that needs a break can just come here and just relax.
It has definitely exceeded my expectation. I hope you enjoyed reading this post. If you would want to visit Calauit Island too, I will make a blog for that trip soon and will link it here.
Before I let you go, here's a short clip of the island for you to watch and enjoy. Be blessed!
